Council of EldersThe following is for information only. The Council of Elders as a group is effectively inactive, as only a minority are active in Church affairs. Provided an oncorporated organization is formed to promote Apathetic Agnosticism it may choose to activate this council for its own guidance from amongst its qualified members.. CompositionAll Matriarchs and Patriarchs are ex officio members of the Council of Elders. The Council, by majority vote, may invite other Church members and clergy to join for a fixed or indefinite term, provided such additional members make up 1/3 or less of the total Council membership. RoleThe Council of Elders is the senior advisory and consultative committee within the Church. Its responsibilities are:
