Body Modification / Circumcision

While UCTAA is prepared to accept many cultural traditions, it is the considered opinion of the Patriarch of the Church that any form of ritual body modification, including circumcision, on a child below the age of consent is inappropriate. Consequently clergy are requested to not associate the Church with these rites.

Should an adult of apparently sound mind request a ceremony to celebrate modification of his or her own body, then clergy are free to make their own decisions on officiating.
